What is your Return Policy for S1Digital Products?

S1Digital MEDIA CENTERS (only) purchased for use in the U.S. and Canada come with a fourteen (14) day total satisfaction return policy.
 
This return policy covers all MEDIA CENTERS purchased through S1Digital.com. Under this policy, you may return the products purchased directly from S1Digital.com for a credit or a refund of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling, within fourteen (14) days from the date you receive the product. The only exception to this is if you have requested additional memory (RAM).
 
ALL other products (anything that is purchased from S1Digital.com and is not a Media Center) will be charged a 15% restocking fee if not defective and returned with 14 days.

Please note that any software purchased, including Autonomic Controls software is NOT refundable under any circumstances.

To return products, e-mail us at sales@s1digital.com or call our sales office at (201)-402-1920 Ext 1 to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within the return policy period. You must obtain a RMA Number in order to return the product.

You must ship the products to S1Digital within seven days of the date that S1Digital issues the Credit Return Authorization Number. You must also return the products in their original packaging, in as-new condition, along with any documentation, and all other items that were included in the original shipment, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment.

PLEASE NOTE: ITEMS THAT ARE NOT RETURNED IN AN "AS NEW" CONDITION AND/OR HAVE MISSING COMPONENTS WILL BE CHARGED A 15%-30% RESTOCKING & REPACKAGING FEE OR THE COST OF THE MISSING COMPONENTS, WHICHEVER IS MORE.

We will not refund the cost of a purchase after 14 days of you receiving the item.

What if I find a product to be defective in material and/or workmanship? What are the terms of the Warranty?

S1Digital Media Centers are covered by a one year (365 day) warranty. This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in our Media Centers.

During the first year commencing from the invoice date, we will repair or replace (at our discretion) any S1Digital Media Center returned to us that prove to be defective in materials or workmanship. Please call or email to get an RMA number before shipping back.

Products other than S1Digital Media Centers are covered by their manufacturers' warranty. Please read the enclosed documentation included with your product for further information.

What will S1Digital do?

When you contact us, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization Number for you to include with your return. You must return the products to us in their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk if the product is lost or damaged in shipment. We will return the replacement products to you. We will pay to ship the replaced products to you if you use an address in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. possessions and territories).

If you do not have Internet access, please call our customer care representative at 1-(201)-402-1920. We value our relationship with you and want to make sure that you're satisfied with your purchases.

If we are not able to replace the product because it has been discontinued or is not available, we will replace it with a comparable product. This warranty does not apply to failure of the product resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, mishandling or wear from ordinary use

What is not covered by this limited warranty?

  • External causes such as accident, abuse, or misuse.
  • Servicing not performed by us that causes product to become defective.
  • Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions.
  • Failure to follow the product instructions.
  • Products with missing or altered service tags or Certificates of Authenticity. 
  • Products for which we have not received payment.
  • Software that you either intentionally or unintentionally install on your Media Center that deletes settings, programs, TV shows, etc. WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO PURCHASE ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE. We will not be held responsible for viruses, spyware, etc. on your media center.

What if S1Digital determines that the problem is not covered under this warranty?

If S1Digital determines that the problem is not covered under this warranty, we will notify you within one week of receipt by our customer service office.
