S1Digital Windows 7 Promotion Terms
S1Digital is offering a free upgrade of Windows 7 after it
is released to all new purchases of S1Digital Media Centers and Servers, with
the exception of the Media Center Mini
Edition.
The promotion will run from Jan 19th, 2009 until March 31st, 2009. Orders
placed before or after these dates will not be eligible.
The upgrade will be available some time after Windows 7 is released. It may be possible that some needed drivers
will not available at launch. If all drivers and software is available at
launch, then S1Digital will be able to offer the upgrade closer to the launch date.
You must contact S1Digital once Windows 7 is released to let us know that you would like the upgrade. The system must be shipped back to S1Digital for upgrade. You will be responsible for shipping to and from S1Digital.
S1Digital will pay for the cost of the new license and labor
costs involved with installing Windows 7.
Please note that S1Digital will perform a CLEAN install of
the operating system, which will WIPE any and all data stored on the Media
Center. You MUST BACK UP any content or data that you wish to keep as it will
be delete during the install. You can then replace it once you receive the
system back. S1Digital WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST DATA IF YOU WISH TO
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS PROMOTION!
